Suzanne Lake is the visionary heart behind GG Forever—and the legacy starts long before the doors of this dreamy bridal boutique ever opened. Suzanne founded her first store, Garden Gate, on March 17, 2008. What began as a charming small-town shop quickly blossomed into a beloved fashion destination. In September 2012, she led the rebranding of Garden Gate into GG Formals, ushering in a new era of modern elegance, pageant glam, and prom dreams. With the launch of GG Forever, Suzanne has expanded her legacy into bridal—creating a luxurious, intimate space where brides can say yes to the dress and begin their forever.

A 2003 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Early Childhood Education, Suzanne is a proud wife and mama to five: KB, Bennett, Keaton, Bowan, and Lynnox. She married her middle school sweetheart, Matt Lake, who stands beside her in life and in business. Matt is a major part of the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps everything running smoothly—from counting numbers to flipping storefronts and dreaming up new ventures right beside her.

When she’s not curating gowns and styling brides, Suzanne is a passionate traveler. She loves discovering new cultures, trying every food on the menu, and finding one-of-a-kind treasures in shops around the world. Her love for shopping isn't just a hobby—it’s a superpower. As the buyer for GG Formals and GG Forever, Suzanne brings in the freshest, most fashion-forward styles every season, always staying ahead of the trends while keeping timeless elegance at the heart of it all.

For Suzanne, GG Forever isn’t just about the dresses—it’s about the moments. The teary-eyed moms. The laughs with sisters. The brides who walk in nervous and walk out glowing. It’s about love stories, including her own, and helping other women step into the most magical chapter of theirs.

Creative Director, Social Media Manager & Head of Personal Relations

At just 20 years old, KB Lake is the creative force behind GG Forever — bringing vibrant energy, big vision, and heartfelt connection to every corner of the brand. A current journalism student at the University of Georgia, KB blends her love for storytelling, design, and people into everything she does, making her a natural leader in both business and branding.
Her journey with GG Formals began when she was just eight years old — managing social media before she even had a phone of her own. By 14, she had stepped into the sales floor, quickly becoming known for her infectious personality and unmatched ability to make customers feel special.

Today, she serves as Creative Director, Social Media Manager, and Head of Personal Relations for GG Forever, overseeing the brand’s voice, vision, and customer experience with grace and intention.
A true artist at heart, KB’s passions include painting, reading, traveling, and learning — all of which shine through in her creative direction. She has a deep appreciation for beauty, storytelling, and connection, which is evident in every campaign she creates and every bride she meets.KB is more than just a team member — she’s family. Her joy is contagious, her ideas are big, and her heart is even bigger. Whether she's styling a shoot, planning a campaign, welcoming brides into the store, or just giving someone a reason to smile, she’s always doing it with purpose, love, and a touch of sparkle.

With decades of experience in fashion and bridal sales, Suzanne is known for her unmatched eye, intuition, and ability to connect with every bride who walks through the door. She was truly born to sell — effortlessly combining confidence, care, and expertise to create unforgettable experiences. As a Senior Stylist, Suzanne leads by example, setting the tone for excellence in every appointment.

KB is the creative heart of GG Forever. A student at the University of Georgia studying journalism and branding, she leads the vision behind our marketing, social media, and in-store experience. KB has been selling since she was 14, and it shows in her effortless ability to connect with brides, understand their vision, and help them feel completely confident. Her mix of artistic flair, authenticity, and emotional connection makes her a standout in both sales and storytelling.

Named GG Formals’ 2025 Salesperson of the Year, Carleigh is known for her ability to instantly connect with brides and make the entire experience feel unforgettable. Her bubbly energy and natural gift for sales make her a true standout on our team.

Liz is bold, passionate, and sharp as a needle — the kind of stylist who brings confidence and fire into every appointment. Currently pursuing a law degree with dreams of becoming an attorney, she’s no stranger to ambition or excellence. Brides love her strong presence, her honesty, and the way she fiercely advocates for helping them find the dress. Working with Liz feels like having a personal hype woman and style expert all in one.

Brides adore her gentle heart, timeless style, and the way she makes the entire experience feel warm, easy, and personal.
